Thanks to the very good airport connections with many countries, Marseille is an easy-to-reach city from where you can discover all the beauties of Provence. In partnership with the incoming travel agency Provence Reservation, Provence Tours offers tailor-made packages for individuals, including ground transportation, accommodation, activities and excursions from Marseille.

Discover below an example of package which content can be amended to better suit your expectations :



Tuesday (day 1) : Arrival in Avignon :

Your driver will pick you up in Avignon TGV Station and will transfer you to your hotel.

Spend the rest of the day at leisure and a night at your hotel.

Wednesday (day 2) : Pope's Palace and Provencal Roman heritage :

Breakfast at the hotel.

our morning will be devoted to visit Avignon on your own : ticket entrance included for the Popes Palace and the Pont d'Avignon (english audioguide available). Lunch on your own. Join an afternoon tour to the « French Rome » Nîmes, to visit the Roman Arena. Then to the charming medieval town of Uzes. Your excursion will continue until the Pont du Gard, the famous waterbridge from the 1st century. Drive back to Avignon. Dinner on your own.


Thurday (day 3) : Treasures of Provence :

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure from your hotel. Join a regular full day excursion to see some of the beautiful places of Provence. Orange and Chateauneuf-du-Pape : Look at the Triumph Arch and visit the Roman Antic Theatre (ticket/hearphone included). Enjoy a wine tasting in one of the cellar of the village of Chateauneuf-du-Pape. During the afternoon, you will go to Arles, where you will discover the Roman monuments and sites painted by Van Gogh. Continue toward the Alpilles Mountains range to stop in les Baux de Provence and at les Antiques in Saint-Rémy de Provence for a photo stop. Drive back to Avignon. Dinner on your own.


Friday (day 4) :Luberon and Aix en Provence

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure from your hotel. This morning regular half-day excursion will bring you to the Luberon area. Stop in Roussillon, called the « red village », then Gordes, famous for the architecture with dry stones, and finish with a visit inside the lavender museum. Drive back to your hotel and take your belongings.

Private tour/transfer from Avignon to Marseille with your english speaking driver/guide. You will discover the city of Aix en Provence during a guided walking tour. A city known for the Cours Mirabeau, fountains, private mansions and Paul Cézanne.
Drive back to your 3* or 4* hotel in Marseille for the check in.

Dinner on your own.

Saturday (day 5) : Marseille and Cassis

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning at leisure.
In the afternoon, enjoy a regular half-day tour to the village of Cassis and Marseille. You will be impressed by the view from the cliff of Cape Canaille. Discover the famous Calanques of Cassis during a 45 minutes cruise on the Mediterranean sea. You will appreciate the panoramic tour of Marseille. It will include the famous basilica Notre-Dame de la garde, a drive on the Corniche road along the coast and a stop at Saint-Victor abbey above the Vieux-Port. Dinner on your own.

Sunday (day 6) : Departure transfer

Breakfast at the hotel.
